Course Description
People who actively play sports and lead a sedentary lifestyle often develop pain in the body, sometimes for seemingly no reason. Of course, there can be several sources of these, but in many cases it is a matter of trigger points and tension points created in the muscles.
What is a trigger point?
The myofascial trigger point is stiffness isolated to a small muscle fiber section, which can be felt as a knot, mainly around the center of the muscle belly (central trigger point). The points can be felt as small bumps, stiff "spaghetti" pieces, or small, plum-shaped and sized humps. Not everyone's finger is necessarily sensitive enough to find the points based on the bump without experience, but you can't go wrong with self-treatment, because the trigger point always hurts when pressed. Trigger point knots are therefore parts of hard muscle fibers that cannot relax and are constantly contracted, even for years. The given muscle is usually affected by incorrect messages from the sympathetic nervous system. These sensitive parts can develop in any of the body's muscles, but they mostly appear in the center of the body's most active muscles -- pelvis, hips, shoulders, neck, back. Tension points also interfere with muscle coordination and exertion, thereby reducing the effect of weight training, agility and cardiovascular training.

Unfortunately, trigger points can be caused by anything.
Direct activation reasons:
Indirect activation reasons:
Trigger points respond to physical intervention, but nothing else and "light" things do. Positive thinking, meditation and relaxation are of no use. But even physical influences will not be useful if they are too comprehensive and not specific enough to affect the trigger point. Stretching alone, for example, will not help, and may even make the situation worse. Cold, heat, electrical stimulation and painkillers can temporarily relieve symptoms, but the trigger point will not go away. For reliable results, physical therapy should be aimed directly at the trigger point.
Trigger point deep massage treatment
The success of trigger point therapy depends on the therapist being able to recognize the radiated pain and find the triggering trigger point and not only examine the location of the pain. It is also not unusual for a pain zone to be nourished by several trigger points lying in different muscles. The points almost never radiate to the other side of the body, so the trigger point must also be found on the side of the pain.

We recommend trigger point therapy to all professionals working in the health and beauty industry, whether they are masseurs, naturopaths, physiotherapists, beauticians, or anyone who wants to learn and develop, since they have this knowledge, so if we are aware of where and how to to handle:

Student Feedback

I have many problematic guests who need professional treatment for tied muscles. I received detailed theoretical and practical knowledge. Thanks.

I received thorough and detailed teaching material, watching the videos was a complete relaxation for me. I really liked it.

I am glad that I got access to the training at such a favorable price. I can use what I have learned very well in my work. The next course will be lymphatic massage, which I would like to learn from you.

I was able to fit it nicely into my other massage services. I was able to learn a very effective treatment. The course brought not only professional but also personal development.

We covered a lot of different topics during the training. The educational material is comprehensive and high-quality, and we have taken over the anatomical knowledge of the body in detail. My personal favorite was the fascia theory.
